Question 1

How does DealHunter find deals?

Accepted Answer

An automated scanner checks Amazon's deal pages — Lightning Deals, Goldbox deals, coupons, Subscribe & Save, and warehouse/renewed items — every 30 minutes and publishes anything at least 40% off list price.

Question 2

How does DealHunter verify that a deal is still live?

Accepted Answer

Before posting, each deal's price is confirmed directly on the Amazon product page. While a deal is live it is re-checked on a rotating cadence; if the price no longer holds, the code stops working, or the deal expires, it is removed from the feed automatically.

Question 3

Is DealHunter affiliated with Amazon?

Accepted Answer

No. DealHunter is an independent information site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. As an Amazon Associate it earns a commission from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to the buyer.

Question 4

What does 'works for me' voting do?

Accepted Answer

Visitors who successfully redeemed a deal mark it 'works for me'. If enough users report a deal as not working, it is pulled from the live feed so the board stays trustworthy.
